Australian Ski Resort puts Mattracks to work on a totally a unique vehicle

Combine a specially equipped Isuzu 4x4 truck and a set of Mattracks 200 Series track conversions and what do you get? You get a unique oversnow people mover capable of transporting your resort guests comfortably and safely over the most challenging snowy terrain.

This ski season, guests at Charlotte Pass Village Ski Resort will be treated to a totally new experience in over snow transportation. Guests will make the trek to and from the lodge traveling in one of the three Mattracks equipped people movers recently put into operation. The track equipped Isuzu trucks will replace the old transport system. These vehicles are designed to carry up to 16 passengers are expected to offer faster more efficient transportation compared the old system.

Charlotte Pass Village is the highest resort in Australia and is snowbound for most of the ski season. The Mattracks equipped Isuzu trucks will play a key role at the resort this ski season.

Mattracks CEO, Alumnus of the Year at Northland Community & Technical College
NTCC_alum_awardGlen Brazier was recently presented with the Alumnus of the Year Award at Northland Community & Technical College in Thief River Falls. Glen Brazier is a 1972 graduate of the Thief River Falls Technical College's Aviation Maintenance Technology program. Glen has established and operated eight different businesses throughout Northwest and North Central Minnesota and Missouri. He is currently the CEO and owner of Mattracks, Inc. and National Transmission Service Centers.

Often described as an entrepreneur inventor, Mr. Brazier created Mattracks out of a sketch his 11 year old son had made of a truck with tracks. Mattracks was established in 1992 and since then, has grown into a company that occupies a 100,000 square foot facility in Karlstad, Minnesota and is sold in over 45 international markets.

Mr. Brazier holds various patents and has involved himself in the development and manufacture of many products including the Mattracks track systems for 4-wheel drive vehicles. Mr. Brazier has always remained active in aviation and is a licensed pilot with three airplanes and currently resides in Greenbush.

The purpose of the Quality of Place Award, which Mattracks is the very first recipient, is to recognize Northwest Minnesota Foundation partners, grantees, training participants and loan clients who have helped develop community assets in a manner that enhances the quality of the places in the region. The award was presented at the Annual Celebration Dinner in Crookston, MN on April 27th.

Northwest Minnesota Foundation has provided Mattracks with assistance and support during several of the companies growth and expansion phases. This partnership has allowed Mattracks to expand its product line and offer employment for skilled laborers and professionals.

 

 

U.S. Representative Collin Peterson visits Mattracks Factory

U.S. Rep. Collin Peterson visited Mattracks to check out some of the new Mattracks products slated for review and evaluation at a number of military test centers and facilities under an anticipated Army TACOM (Tank-automotive and Armaments Command), Sole Source Procurement contract. The final details of the military testing and evaluation contract will be announced in the near future as the contract is being finalized.

Products included in the testing are from both the Mattracks truck tracks and LiteFoot ATV tracks systems product groups. Participates in the evaluation program include the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers at the Waterways Test Center, the North Dakota National Guard, Navy Seals as well as The U.S. Army Tank Automotive Research, Development and Engineering Center (TARDEC).
